Hussein Baqiah is assistance professor of Materials Science. He obtained his Master of Science from Putra University Malaysia in 2009 and received his PhD in Materials Science from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2014. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Putra University Malaysia for four years (2015 -2019). He joined institute of Biophysics, Dezhou University in 2019. His research interests are to synthesis andexplore physical properties (structural, electrical, optical, magnetic, electronic) of multifunctional nano-crystalline metals oxide thin films by sol-gel process for spintronic, optoelectronic, sensor, photoenergy conversion and superconductors applications. He published 14 papers as first and correspondence author and in 33 papers with researches teams in ranked SCI journals. He was selected as reviewer in the following journals: Optik, Materials science and engineering B and Superconductivity and magnetism.
Main research directions:
- Multifunctional complex oxides thin films by sol-gel method.
- Orthoferrites and bismuth ferrite/orthoferrites double layer thin films.
- Dilute magnetic semiconductors oxide thin films
- Superconductors
- Nanomaterials.
Some Research results:
- Sol-gel process parameters were optimized for fabrications high quality (SmFeO3, GdFeO3, YFeO3) and bismuth ferrite/orthoferrites double layer thin films.
- The results showed that the annealing temperature is vital parameter to tune microstructure morphology.
- The physical properties orthoferrites and bismuth ferrite/orthoferrites double layer thin films were enhanced and optimized.
